Well, guess what? These are all clear signs your child could use a helping hand in the social skills department.

About Author Josh Evermore
My first book was published only last year and has already been declared a Finalist in the Global Book Awards.
My second book, about herbs, will be released in paperback on August 9th, 2024, on Amazon.com. It will be available in other formats and through other booksellers as soon as I can get them there.
I grew up in New York, and life was tough for me as a child. I would lose myself in writing stories and reading great books. My teachers enjoyed my writing, and I later found out that they would trade each thing I wrote with each other in the teacher’s break room so that all the teachers could enjoy it.
In my senior year of High School, students had to take and pass the State English Regents exam to graduate. I passed it with full credit. I was told I was the only student in that school ever to do that. The school was built in 1955.
I started working as a beach guard at age sixteen. I had to keep the beach clean in case anyone visited it. Once it was clean, I pulled out a notebook and wrote the rest of the day.
I attended seven different colleges and universities. I attended classes until I ran out of money for tuition, then worked full-time until I had saved up enough money to attend school again. Often, I had to move to a new place to get a job. I graduated from BYU with a BFA in Theater/Film, 2500 miles from where I was born. Most of my classes were writing for Theater/Film.
My future wife and I met on a blind date—a date that my friends neglected to tell me about. Before this date, I spent the day at work sliding on my belly along fence lines. I arrived at my friend’s apartment filthy from head to toe. Only then did they remember that they had set up this date for me. I was able to wash my face, hands, and arms. However, there was no hope for the clothes I was wearing.
My date arrived, and my friends explained my appearance to her. She still agreed to the date, and we saw a movie. I expected the worst outcome that evening. Surprisingly, she judged me on criteria other than my appearance, and we are now married and have two children.
I am attempting to support my whole family with my writing. Therefore, if you read my books, please give them a review on Amazon.com or on whatever bookseller’s site you find them on.
I am setting up my author website on www.JoshEvermore.com. It isn’t done yet, so if you find it and it still looks like it is under construction, my apologies.
Many thanks,
Josh Evermore
